The 8th of March marks International Women’s Day. We at Ikigai Authentic have been promoting women’s power and confidence and striving to achieve gender diversity both in society and in business.

On the 24th March 2022, FocusCore & Ikigai Authentic will be holding an online seminar:

“Now is the Time to Accelerate Towards Gender Equality: The Need for Allyship in Corporation in Japan”

Gender equality is a worldwide topic and is included in the 17 SDGs. In Japan, 5 years have passed since the Act on the Promotion of Female Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace was passed and numerous companies are now discussing their action plans for 2025 and 2030.

In this online seminar, we hope to share the foundational knowledge when considering the promotion of gender diversity and female participation, biases that hinder gender equality, the roles of men and what sort of actions corporations should take. We will be joined by two fantastic guest speakers, Nancy Ngou and Danny Risberg.

The content will be designed for corporations who are currently working on promoting females in the workplace and/or gender equality, but also to those who wish to acquire more knowledge regarding gender diversity.
