People's values and feelings should be absolute, not relative
We all experienced the hard times that made us sad and painful, and it took a long time to recover the feelings. However, some people would compare their experiences to others and suppress their feelings as they think, "There are more people who have been suffering than I am". Similarly, there is an aspect of society that extract information about the superficial elements of multifaceted human beings and assign superiority or inferiority to the experiences and values of others, as if they are creating the social hierarchy of values. A good example of this would be the tendency to antagonize celebrities who share stories of past hardships when their backgrounds are more privileged than others. However, such feelings and values should not be compared to others. Their values and feelings should be absolute and not relativistic to society. As to finding our "Ikigai", I believe understanding and accepting our values are essential in moving forward.
