What’s behind the Ikigai Authentic name

The word ikigai in the name comes from a time-honored concept in Japan of finding quite literally “something to live for”—the thing that motivates you to keep going. Authentic comes from one of the most aspects about ikigai, which is that it is something that is all your own and totally unique to you.
We believe that promoting diversity and inclusion means creating organizations and workplaces where every individual can thrive as their authentic self.
Our mission is to create more workplaces that give people a sense of purpose that motivates them, allowing individuals to find their own balance between what they love, what they’re good at, what their world needs, and what they can be paid for, and then find value through that and leverage it to gain an advantage over the competition.

Vision

Creating workplaces worth working at and a society worth living in—a society that offers ikigai
